Grace Gonzalez is a Mexican-American artist and illustrator who aims to stoke imaginings of potential future mythologies. Her contribution to this conversation is a mythos that centers on endings, transformation, and cycles. She utilizes symbols, surreal landscapes and animal figures to create stories on ephemerality.
Her work invites the public to engage in generative thinking on what our mythos could be and what we could value. She has shown at the Vestibule, Nii Modo, Geheim Gallery and has created public works for North Seattle College, the city of Tukwila, and Spaceworks Tacoma.
